The Wine Trail: Tasmanian wine is legendary - cool climate, fertile soils and expert viticulture have combined to produce a 'menu' of reds and whites, still wines and sparkling, that keep the wine world talking. Chardonnays, sauvignon blancs, pinot noirs, rieslings, cabernet sauvignons, semillons are just a few. On the Tasmanian Wine Route you'll visit 14 wineries in the Tamar region, between Launceston and the north coast. Taste before you buy, and have a gourmet lunch in a winery restaurant.
