26 Day Arnhem Land Top End Adventure:
HIGHLIGHTS: Travelling north to the gulf country, places of interest include the beautiful Lawn Hill National Park, Burketown, Wollongorang Cattle Station and Cape Crawford. Our journey from here is to Roper Bar then by special invitation we travel with the traditional land owners into the heart of Southern Arnhem Land. Activities during our stay include a guided tour of an area known locally as - Burrunji "The Ruin City". Itīs a spectacular region of towering spires and cool chasms which have to be seen to be believed. Bushtucker gathering, didgeridoo making and fishing for barra make this a unique cultural experience. Our Top End adventure also visits the the town of Nhulunbuy on the Gove Peninsula, Kakadu NP and by special arrangement the Gurig NP on the Cobourg Peninsula. The Peninsula is part of the largest Marine park in the Northern Territory and apart from being a fishermanīs paradise, itīs an important breeding ground for Dugongs and six species of turtles. Other highlights include: Gunlom, Jim Jim & Twin Waterfalls, Ubirr & Nourlangie Rock and Leitchfield NP. Book early for these highlights and see many more!
